Flagler businessman Joe Mullins supports Team Rubicon, others during Hurricane Matthew cleanup

A chunk of Flagler County's coastline tumbled into the Atlantic Ocean in October 2016 as Hurricane Matthew roared north along the coast, damaging portions of Highway A1A and other areas of the county.

Joe Mullins, president and CEO of The Mullins Companies, joined many other volunteers in the Flagler Beach community to clean up after the storm left the area.

Team Rubicon was also in the area to help clean up the storm damage, and Mullins joined the team at a Flagler Beach restaurant to purchase dinner for people who helped with the cleanup process.

"Team Rubicon pairs the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, medical professionals and technology solutions to complement other resources in an impacted area," Mullins said in an article posted on the Augusta CEO website.
